Westport, MA (2007)
This 28 foot by 11 foot planar net artwork construction of Trevira CS, a high performing German solar protection fabric, was designed to greatly reduce overheating in a large west facing window. It was hoisted for the first time during a heatwave at which point the room couldn't even be used. The room was immediately comfortable. The translucency made it possible to still see the Westport River.
